Purpose
The Aha! moment
Andrew J. Peden MBA, CEO, founded “I Wanna Give Back” (IWGB) after a trip he, his twin girls, and his brother D., took to the PPG Paints Arena, home of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Pittsburgh Penguins. D.'s, entire 30 plus year career consists of military and government service. The almost decade long relationship between the two is not one of blood but one of service to each other, which built camaraderie and a sense of community between the two, which now makes them family, whose experiences have become traditions.
“That was the first time I ever went to a hockey game. I had such a great time I will remember that trip for the rest of my life!” D.
Andrew spent more than a decade in Corporate management, he attended medical school, attained his MBA and Paramedic degree simultaneously, and is the owner and CEO of a boutique project management agency in New York that helps businesses grow, and achieve their visions through Education, Training, and Support.
“I always felt that there was something more out there calling me, like there had to be something greater than this, whatever it was I was doing at that time.”
Andrew always felt the need to do more, to give back, the sense that there was something more out there greater than himself. “As a husband and father I am blessed. I know that I have rights that some may take for granted, or may not even be aware of what their rights are, and or the service that it takes to provide them. I want to ensure that the rights my family and I enjoy, that have been attained through service, are there for generations to come.
That is why “I Wanna Give Back” to the brave men and women who put on the United States of America’s uniform, the greatest country on the face of this planet, to fight for and protect those God given rights”.
